Nancy graduated from the piano department of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. A former art school piano teacher for five years, she had worked in the China Broadcasting Orchestra Piano solo and choir accompaniment. Nancy has many years of stage performing and recording experience, and good riffs, monophonic melody immediately dubbed beautiful piano music.
Over the years, she has been invited by various Chinese universities to lecture on improvised accompaniment performance. In October 2014, she was invited by the Music College of Capital Normal University. In May 2015, she was invited by the Music College of Guangxi Normal University.
Nancy has been teaching in the United States for two decades. She is good at individualized, one-on-one teaching. Students will be arranged to participate at about 6-7 competitions each year, and at least 20 of her students win. Her students have outstanding achievement in the annual CM Assessment exam. Nancy organizes student music recitals twice a year for parents to understand their students’ progress.
